Our Journey
Our journey began during my time in the Navy, serving at the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon as the assistant to a Navy Admiral. While stationed in Washington, D.C., I frequently visited a small shop in the Navy Yard called “Temptations.” The edgy, memorable name always drew people in and created a lively atmosphere. That experience stayed with me. When it came time to name our own business, we wanted something equally bold and intriguing — which is why we chose Confessions.
But Confessions is more than just an edgy name. It reflects one of our deepest values: community. We created Confessions Gelato as a place where friends, families, and loved ones can come together, slow down, and truly connect. Whether it’s a first date that sparks something special, a Sunday outing with your kids or grandparents, or colleagues stepping away from the office to share laughs and stories — every scoop is an invitation to create meaningful moments together.
Veteran-Owned
Confessions Gelato is proudly owned and operated by a military veteran and a medical professional veteran. After years of service, we traded in our uniforms for aprons and brought the same discipline, pride, and commitment to excellence into our mobile gelato trailer. What started as a personal craving for authentic, high-quality Italian gelato became a mission: to deliver generous scoops of fresh, slow-churned frozen treats to our community in Conroe and surrounding areas — at prices that make sense and with portions that truly satisfy. Every batch we make reflects the serious and personal values we carried through our service: integrity, attention to detail, and a deep desire to bring people together over something truly joyful.
